Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy for BIPOC

Foundation Training Details

This program has been specifically created for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)

We are dedicated to creating a supportive environment for BIPOC individuals to engage in healing and education through Craniosacral Biodynamics. This special curriculum offers a safe space to develop new skills and share experiences. For those who do not identify as BIPOC, we appreciate your understanding and are happy to direct you to other resources that may suit your needs.

Our Foundation Training begins with Module 1: “Inherent Health ~ An Introduction to BCST.” This 3-day online course blends ancestral healing wisdom with contemporary scientific insights to introduce perceptual shifts and practical practitioner skills applicable across therapeutic modalities. Students learn concrete techniques for settling the nervous system and deepen their appreciation of the practitioner’s role in facilitating the Inherent Healing Process. Completion of this module also opens the option to apply for the 2-year Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) for BIPOC Foundation Training, continuing with Module 2. All modules are sequential, and students are expected to complete every module within the same training program.

Early admission to full Foundation Training is available!

Note: In our efforts to make this training more accessible and equitable, classes are taught in a hybrid format. We instruct you in both remote and in-person practices, so you can acquire skills to work effectively in either setting. Learning remotely offers unique opportunities to refine perceptual abilities—heightening listening, observation, and sensitivity to subtle cues—which in turn enhances the quality of in-person sessions. This dual approach broadens access while ensuring practitioners develop a full range of competencies needed to provide exceptional care.

Module 1: May 29-31, 2026

BCST for BIPOC

FOUNDATION TRAINING STRUCTURE

The training involves 13 x 3-day modules over the course of 2 years.

Modules 1 is taught online and is a prerequisite for the full training. It can be taken as a stand-alone class.

Each 3-day module is a carefully layered presentation of material and supervised practice of BCST skills. Classes are held in a hybrid format, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 9am to 7pm MT, with a 1-hour lunch break. We teach you how to do this work remotely and in person, and you will have both skills to offer if you wish.

There is a total of 700 hours required to be completed for graduation:
350 hours of classroom time.
150 hours of practice sessions. Between seminars students practice skills they learned in class. These are unpaid sessions and the clients are informed that the practitioner is in training. These sessions are listed and turned in to the teaching team for review. It is recommended that you get 12 completed in-between modules so you are ready to graduate at the end. This includes one written 10-hour Case Study which starts halfway through the program.
10 hours of sessions that you receive from an RCST (the cost for this is not included in the tuition). We recommend that you schedule these sessions between each module to prepare you for the upcoming module.
150 hours of study time including drawing and modeling anatomical structures and the reading of texts in the fields of BCST, cranial osteopathy, trauma resolution, anatomy and pre-and perinatal development.
40 hours of a Special Project.

PREREQUISITES

However, a certain amount of anatomy & physiology study is incorporated into the curriculum and is required to graduate.
